The Unit for Church & Society looks after much of the work that the District does with the outside work, it covers work such as ecumenical links, chaplaincy, children and youth work and the world church.
CHAPLAINCIES GROUP
Across the District we have numerous Chaplains both paid and volunteer, working in different roles ranging from youth chaplaincy to town centre chaplaincy and so much more.
One of the largest Chaplaincy Projects we are engaged in is that of Borderlands Rural Chaplaincy which works in rural areas of the District, particularly Shropshire, Herefordshire and Powys. More information about the Borderlands Chaplaincy can be found by clicking

This seven-session course is designed to take a group from being interested in the ministry of chaplaincy to actually planning a chaplaincy ministry and doing it.
