Caroline Ely in Belize City with EEP

At the end of last year Caroline Ely from Springdale Church in  the Wolverhampton Circuit was accepted on to the combined volunteer programme of the Methodist Church and USPG (Anglicans in World Mission) known as EEP; the Experience Exchange Programme.

She will spend six months, from February23rd, in Belize City, teaching Maths in the Methodist Primary school and assisting with the children's and young people strategy development work which is partially funded by the Methodist Church in Britain and partially by Action for Children.

Belize is in Central America although it shares many cultural links with the Caribbean.
A former British colony (so mostly English speaking), it shares borders with Mexico and Guatemala, and the Caribbean Sea ! Belize City is the former capital and sits at sea level on the coast.
