Komera News 4

Wolverhampton Trinity Circuit

The Circuit took the opportunity to donate the offertory (£270) from its first service in the Connexional year, the welcome service for the Rev Robert Ely, to KOMERA.

On Saturday, 17th November Beckminster Methodist Church hosted an evening in aid of KOMERA. Friends enjoyed a (not so) simple supper with slides, songs from Rwanda and the opportunity to listen to Kate McClelland singing songs from her CD.

The evening started with the offer of a drink. One sat at laid tables where soup was served. This was followed by a buffet of quiche and salad. Dessert was a mince pie and cream. As well as an excellent slide presentation from John Howard and an update on progress of the building work at the hospital the audience were taught some Rwandan songs.

On Saturday, 24th November Cranmer Methodist Church held a singalong session using their new digital hymn tune facility, at which the attendees will be invited to sing their favourite hymns karaoke style. Great Fun.
